Criteria for trainees evaluation at CEPAE
In order to make it clear what we expect from trainees over the period of teaching practice at CEPAE, we stablished some criteria for class evaluation, as follows:
1) Lesson plan:
ü Organization (setting: goals, time, interaction patterns; selection, preparation and quality of material)
2) Class execution:
ü timing and pacing
ü content knowledge
ü use of English
ü classroom management
ü flexibility and adaptation of material to class
ü achievement of goals
3) Feedback session
ü commitment and responsibility
ü reflective positioning before class challenges
ü self evaluation
These items shall be considered when deciding upon grades and reports to UFG Letras professors.
